
Telemedicine Infectious Disease Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Conduct audio/visual telemedicine consultations for patients utilizing an onsite telemedicine cart.
β’ Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of infectious diseases, including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, tuberculosis, sepsis, travel-related illnesses, and emerging infections.
β’ Review medical histories, laboratory results, imaging studies, and other pertinent clinical information through EMR platforms.
β’ Prescribe suitable treatments, medications, and arrange for follow-up care.
β’ Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, providing clinical guidance for infection control and antimicrobial stewardship.
β’ Accurately document consultations in the electronic medical record (EMR).
β’ Submit billing charges through the required billing software.
β’ M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized medical school.
β’ Board-certified in Infectious Disease (ABIM or equivalent).
β’ Authorized to work in the United States.
β’ At least 2 years of clinical experience in infectious diseases (telehealth experience is a plus).
β’ Capacity to work a minimum of 7 shifts each month.
β’ Proficiency in navigating various EMR/EHR systems.
