Telemedicine Infectious Disease Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct audio/visual telemedicine consultations for patients utilizing an onsite telemedicine cart.

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of infectious diseases, including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, tuberculosis, sepsis, travel-related illnesses, and emerging infections.

• Review medical histories, laboratory results, imaging studies, and other pertinent clinical information through EMR platforms.

• Prescribe suitable treatments, medications, and arrange for follow-up care.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, providing clinical guidance for infection control and antimicrobial stewardship.

• Accurately document consultations in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Submit billing charges through the required billing software.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized medical school.

• Board-certified in Infectious Disease (ABIM or equivalent).

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in infectious diseases (telehealth experience is a plus).

• Capacity to work a minimum of 7 shifts each month.

• Proficiency in navigating various EMR/EHR systems.
