
Telemedicine Cardiologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Recognize urgent or emergent cardiac conditions during virtual consultations and activate necessary emergency protocols, including referrals to emergency services when needed.
• Perform virtual cardiology assessments and oversee direct patient care, encompassing evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment strategies.
• Examine patient histories, medical records, and pertinent diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and laboratory results.
• Analyze diagnostic studies, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Prescribe medications and design treatment plans customized to meet individual patient requirements.
• Refer patients to suitable specialists and coordinate their care as necessary.
• Offer clinical guidance to onsite nursing staff and collaborate with physicians in emergency and inpatient environments.
• Foster strong working relationships with hospital-based healthcare providers.
• Precisely document consultations in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Exhibit exceptional remote communication skills and a virtual bedside manner.
• Submit billing charges using the required billing software.
• MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.
• Board Certified in Cardiology (ABIM or equivalent).
• Authorized to practice in the U.S.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Cardiology (telehealth experience is a plus).
• Availability to work 7 shifts a month, including one weekend shift each month.
• Proficient in navigating various EMR/EHR systems.
