Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive nutrition counseling and weight management education through various communication channels including phone, video, chat, text, and email.

• Administer medication management and support for obesity-related comorbidities under the guidance of designated physicians.

• Participate in remote patient monitoring using multiple devices (such as scales, blood glucose meters, blood pressure monitors, and ketone meters).

• Assist patients with the dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications in accordance with established protocols.

• Work collaboratively with team physicians and external healthcare providers to deliver holistic care.

• Establish quick rapport and therapeutic relationships with a diverse array of patients.

• Apply motivational interviewing and other effective techniques to promote behavior change.

• Meet program metrics consistently while upholding high standards of care quality.

• Timely completion of all required documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess the Registered Dietitian credential awarded by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Willingness and capability to obtain state licenses as necessary to support member coverage.

• Must have a HIPAA-compliant workspace equipped with high-speed internet for secure patient interactions.

• Comfortable using advanced technology, including electronic medical records and a variety of digital tools.

• Proven ability to modify communication strategies to cater to the needs of a diverse patient demographic.

• Must not engage in full-time employment elsewhere.

• Flexible availability with a commitment to at least 20 hours per week.

• State licensure is required if applicable.
