
Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical histories, dietary practices, laboratory findings, and more.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling as well as educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general guidance on movement, sleep, and stress management as it relates to nutritional care.
• Utilize the nutrition training and educational resources provided by Allara, customizing care to meet patient needs.
• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and current patient records.
• Document patient interactions, address inquiries, and manage administrative tasks and messages promptly.
• Registered Dietitian with a valid certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• One year of experience in treating patients with complex women’s health issues (highly preferred).
• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and clarity.
• Capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Prior experience in telehealth is advantageous.
• Must possess an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.
• Applicants are required to submit a current CDR registration number.
• Applicants must provide two professional references: one from a past or current supervisor and another from a past or current coworker within the last five years.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; the application will inquire about visa sponsorship needs.
• Annual base salary: $65,000 with potential to rise to $105,000 through our incentive compensation program.
