This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate intake assessments, encompassing medical history, dietary habits, lab results, and additional relevant information.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it relates to nutrition care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while customizing care to meet patient needs.
• Integrate motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the care process.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Keep accurate and current patient records.
• Complete documentation and respond to patient inquiries, administrative duties, and messages promptly.
• Registered Dietitian holding a current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• At least 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.
• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in contemporary clinical research.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Prior experience in telehealth is advantageous.
• Must have an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.
• Required to provide a CDR registration number.
• Must submit two professional references: one from a past or current supervisor and one from a coworker within the last five years.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; the application will inquire if visa sponsorship is needed.
• Annual base salary starting at $65,000, with the potential to increase up to $105,000 through the incentive compensation program.
