This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary habits, laboratory results, and additional relevant information.
• Provide diet and lifestyle counseling and education sessions through video, offering guidance on general movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutrition care.
• Utilize the nutrition training and educational resources provided by Allara to ensure consistent care while tailoring approaches to meet patient needs.
• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques throughout the continuum of care.
• Work collaboratively with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of your patients.
• Keep patient records accurate and up-to-date.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, in addition to time spent on administrative tasks.
• Duties also encompass charting, addressing patient inquiries, and promptly responding to administrative tasks and messages.
• Certification: Must be a Registered Dietitian with current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year treating patients with complex women’s health conditions is strongly preferred.
• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.
• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.
• Webside Manner: A natural talent for establishing trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care grounded in current clinical research.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Telemedicine Experience: Previous experience in telehealth is a plus.
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
