Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Perform patient intake and follow-up consultations to assess eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), prescribing and monitoring patient outcomes through telemedicine.

• Recommend modifications to treatment plans based on patient feedback and treatment results.

• Collaborate closely with Journey Clinical member psychotherapists to provide comprehensive care.

• Coordinate with the Journey Clinical care coordinator to enhance your workflow efficiency.

• Provide timely and constructive feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to help enhance our services.

• Report directly to the Lead Clinician and work alongside the leadership team and co-founders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice in Nevada.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of psychiatric experience as a PMHNP.

• Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric-related experience plus post-board qualifications.

• Possession of DEA registration.

• Comfortable prescribing controlled substances when clinically appropriate.

• Proficient in prescribing for anxiety and depression.

• Ability to swiftly integrate medical and psychiatric information to create effective, evidence-based clinical recommendations.

• Demonstrates a patient-first mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering top-tier patient care.

• Willingness to utilize several straightforward tools to simplify your work (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.).

• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced telehealth startup environment.

• Passionate about the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and its potential to revolutionize mental health.
