Telehealth – Primary Care Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual primary care consultations through video and various telehealth platforms

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse array of acute and chronic conditions in adults

• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations

• Prescribe medications and oversee ongoing treatment regimens

• Offer patient education and clinical advice

• Coordinate care with specialists, care coordinators, and external healthcare providers as necessary

• Support patients throughout the care continuum, from the initial consultation to follow-up

• Maintain accurate and efficient documentation in Athena EMR and other internal systems

• Comply with all telehealth regulations, prescribing protocols, and state-specific guidelines

• Appropriately escalate care based on clinical requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a recognized institution

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Active and unrestricted DEA license

• Active and unrestricted medical licenses in multiple U.S. states; 5+ states strongly preferred

• Eligibility for or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact is preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in primary care or related specialties

• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to address a wide variety of patient needs

• Comfort in practicing independently within a virtual care environment

• Exceptional communication skills and a strong virtual bedside manner

• Proficient in EHR systems, with a preference for experience in Athena
