
Telehealth Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
β’ Conduct initial telehealth consultations with enrolled members.
β’ Evaluate medical needs, identify care gaps, and address obstacles to accessing care.
β’ Develop a clear clinical strategy and prioritize care objectives.
β’ Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of care.
β’ Offer clinical insights to enhance program workflows during the pilot phase.
β’ Promote a patient-centered approach that addresses both social and medical needs.
β’ MD or DO with an active, unrestricted license in South Carolina; multiple state licenses are highly preferred.
β’ Board certified or board eligible, ideally with a background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty.
β’ Over 5 years of physician experience in a non-emergency environment.
β’ At least 2 years of experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, or other complex patient populations.
β’ Familiarity with care coordination, health navigation, or whole-person care models.
β’ Experience working collaboratively with care navigators, community health workers, licensed clinical social workers, nurses, and leadership.
β’ Ability to quickly establish trust with patients in a virtual care context.
β’ Preference for candidates with telehealth experience.
β’ Experience with Google Suite is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Healthie is preferred.
β’ 1099 independent contractor status.
β’ Part-time position with flexible scheduling options.
β’ Conduct virtual visits.
β’ Participate in a pilot program with potential for expansion as the model evolves.
