Telehealth Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial telehealth consultations with enrolled members.

• Evaluate medical needs, identify care gaps, and address obstacles to accessing care.

• Develop a clear clinical strategy and prioritize care objectives.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of care.

• Offer clinical insights to enhance program workflows during the pilot phase.

• Promote a patient-centered approach that addresses both social and medical needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted license in South Carolina; multiple state licenses are highly preferred.

• Board certified or board eligible, ideally with a background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty.

• Over 5 years of physician experience in a non-emergency environment.

• At least 2 years of experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, or other complex patient populations.

• Familiarity with care coordination, health navigation, or whole-person care models.

• Experience working collaboratively with care navigators, community health workers, licensed clinical social workers, nurses, and leadership.

• Ability to quickly establish trust with patients in a virtual care context.

• Preference for candidates with telehealth experience.

• Experience with Google Suite is preferred.

• Familiarity with Healthie is preferred.
