
Telehealth Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gather medical histories, perform virtual evaluations both asynchronously and synchronously, document findings, and assess and diagnose acute and episodic conditions.
• Provide care across a wide urgent-care range, which may encompass acute illnesses, primary-care complaints, men’s sexual health, hair loss, medical weight management, UTIs, emergency contraception, dermatologic issues, and other related low-acuity urgent care needs.
• Deliver care through both asynchronous and synchronous visits, with the expectation that the majority of services will be provided asynchronously.
• Analyze laboratory results and take suitable clinical actions as per established protocols.
• Operate effectively in a telemedicine setting while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and documentation.
• Exhibit adaptability in a dynamic clinical and operational environment.
• Communicate proficiently with other providers through thorough charting and secure messaging platforms.
• Integrate evidence-based medicine with patient preferences and values, enhancing patient confidence and continuity of care.
• Offer insights on potential improvements in clinical quality and operational processes.
• National board certification (AANP or ANCC) in good standing.
• At least three (3) years of experience as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
• A minimum of one (1) year of successful experience providing care primarily in a telehealth-based clinical environment.
• Possession of at least 20 active, non-restrictive U.S. state licenses.
• Experienced in managing both asynchronous and synchronous patient interactions.
• Ability to practice independently within state scope-of-practice guidelines in a production-oriented virtual care setting.
• Proficient in reviewing laboratory results and taking necessary clinical actions.
• Strong clinical judgment across a wide range of urgent and episodic care.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Above-average comfort with technology and virtual care workflows.
• Compensation structure varies based on care type and visit modality, to be discussed during the recruitment process.
• 20–40 hours per week, with a preference for full-time availability.
• Predominantly asynchronous care.
• Some availability on weekends required.
