This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• This is a hybrid role that showcases innovative methods in client care.
• The role involves 90% of work within the HearAssist environment statewide and 10% at local and nearby Centers.
• Conduct HearAssist hearing assessments, assist clients in selecting hearing aids, and provide remote fittings, adhering to best practices outlined in our client-focused service model of Simply Excellent Hearing Care.
• Achieve a minimum Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 75.
• Carry out routine follow-ups, perform cleaning and checks, as well as hearing aid repairs.
• Maintain proficiency in ear impression techniques, earmold modifications, and the recommendation of Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) accessories.
• Utilize hearing aid inventory for instruments and demonstrate the ability to remotely program, ship, and adjust hearing aids for clients within the states of licensure where the Hearing Care Professional operates.
• Regularly showcase hearing aids during annual client evaluations to create a memorable experience.
• Manage hearing aid inventory to achieve an 80% same-day fit/trial rate, fostering improved hearing outcomes.
• Adhere to all state licensing regulations, FDA guidelines, WSA policies, and HearUSA Quality Practice Guidelines (QPG).
• Operate in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring documentation, outcome notes, and referrals are completed for all clients.
• Collaborate with the HearAssist leadership team, District Manager, and field teams to enhance your Center's revenue and positively impact more lives.
• Participate in Continued Professional Development to hone expertise across all service delivery areas, from consultative counseling to the sales, fitting, and troubleshooting of the latest hearing aid technology.
• Generate personal leads through outbound calls.
• Build connections within the local community to stimulate service demand and support marketing initiatives.
• Successfully conduct one community outreach and/or physician marketing event each quarter.

• Experience in a client-focused role as an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficient in basic or advanced written communication skills.
• Background in customer service and experience in resolving grievances.
• Ability to convey detailed or technical information clearly, accurately, and succinctly.
• Capability to work efficiently, accurately, and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Expectation of submitting applications for Multi-State Licensing prior to the start date.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Possession of an active state license in Audiology and/or hearing aid dispensing.
• Acquisition of Multi-State Licensure is mandatory.
