This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Complete necessary training sessions and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness using evidence-based approaches.
• Keep accurate and current patient records and ensure timely completion of charting.
• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and compassion.
• Commit to at least 20 hours per week of patient-facing activities, which include consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically warranted.
• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification: Active national board certification in Gynecology.
• Experience: At least 2 years of consecutive clinical experience as a Gynecologist, focusing on chronic and complex women's health issues such as PCOS, Endometriosis, Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, Metabolic Syndrome, Menopause, Fertility, Postpartum, PMDD, and Obesity.
• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy and clarity.
• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care based on the latest clinical research.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in utilizing various platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Telemedicine Experience: Previous experience in telehealth is advantageous.
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
