Telehealth Gynecologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Team up with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness using evidence-based techniques.

• Keep accurate and current patient records and ensure timely charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and consideration.

• Commit to at least 20 patient-facing hours weekly, including consultations and medical advice, prescribing when clinically relevant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Active national board certification in Gynecology.

• Experience: At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as a Gynecologist, with a focus on chronic and complex women's health issues such as PCOS, Endometriosis, Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, Metabolic Syndrome, Menopause, Fertility, Postpartum, PMDD, and Obesity.

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care based on current clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: A valid, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
