
Telehealth Endocrinologist – Flexible Schedule

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.
• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Complete necessary training sessions and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
• Inform patients about preventative care and wellness utilizing evidence-based approaches.
• Keep accurate and current patient records while ensuring timely completion of charting.
• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and consideration.
• Commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which include consultations and medical advice, with prescription authority when clinically suitable.
• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited educational institution.
• Board Certification: Valid ABIM board certification in Endocrinology from an ACGME-accredited program.
• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in women's health is an added advantage!
• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing empathy and clarity.
• Webside Manner: An innate ability to foster trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care grounded in current clinical research.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is an advantage.
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: A valid, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
