Telehealth Endocrinologist – Flexible Schedule

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create individualized treatment plans through virtual consultations.

• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Provide education to patients on preventative healthcare and wellness using evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely completion of documentation.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and consideration.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours each week, including consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from a recognized institution.

• Board Certification: Current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology through an ACGME-accredited program.

• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are welcome to apply.

• Experience in women's health is advantageous!

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic skills and critical thinking.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to delivering care based on current clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms such as EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is beneficial.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
