
Telehealth Endocrinologist β Flexible Schedule

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create individualized treatment plans through virtual consultations.
β’ Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care.
β’ Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
β’ Provide education to patients on preventative healthcare and wellness using evidence-based methods.
β’ Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely completion of documentation.
β’ Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and consideration.
β’ Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours each week, including consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically appropriate.
β’ Degree: MD or DO from a recognized institution.
β’ Board Certification: Current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology through an ACGME-accredited program.
β’ Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are welcome to apply.
β’ Experience in women's health is advantageous!
β’ Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic skills and critical thinking.
β’ Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.
β’ Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
β’ Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to delivering care based on current clinical research.
β’ Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms such as EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
β’ Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is beneficial.
β’ State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
