This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans through video consultations.
• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Complete necessary training sessions and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness using evidence-based approaches.
• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely completion of charting.
• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and care.
• Allocate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours each week, which includes consultations and medical advice, along with prescribing when clinically appropriate.
• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology from an ACGME-accredited program.
• Experience: We encourage all qualified Endocrinologists to apply.
• Experience in women's health is an added advantage!
• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an autonomous provider, showcasing strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.
• Webside Manner: An innate capacity to foster trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care that is grounded in the latest clinical research.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is a plus.
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
