Telehealth Endocrinologist – Evenings, Fridays, Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and formulate tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of exceptional healthcare standards.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Keep precise and current patient records and ensure timely completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications with clarity and consideration.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week of patient-facing time, inclusive of consultations and medical advice, with prescribing as clinically indicated.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology from an ACGME-accredited program.

• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are encouraged to submit their applications.

• Experience in women's health is advantageous!

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An inherent ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care based on the latest clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous experience in telehealth is beneficial.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
