Telehealth Endocrinologist – Board-Eligible

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment strategies through virtual consultations.

• Work in conjunction with a diverse healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Complete necessary training sessions and adhere to Allara's clinical protocols, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise and current patient records and ensure timely completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and compassion.

• Commit to at least 10 hours of patient-facing activities weekly, which includes consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically warranted.

• Scheduling Requirements: At least 80% of weekly contracted hours should occur during the following times: Evenings (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM), Fridays (8:00 AM – 9:00 PM), and weekends (Saturdays & Sundays from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from a recognized institution.

• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine.

• Endocrinology Fellowship Training & Board Eligibility: Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship.

• Commitment to achieve ABIM board certification in Endocrinology within one year of employment.

• Experience: All board-eligible Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply.

• Women's health experience is an advantage!

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic skills and critical thinking.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, prioritizing compassion and clarity.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: A valid, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
