This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.
• Complete necessary training while adhering to Allara’s clinical guidelines, policies, and best practices.
• Inform patients about preventative care and wellness using evidence-based methods.
• Ensure patient records are accurate and current, and complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Address patient inquiries and manage administrative messages and responsibilities.
• Commit to providing a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations, medical advice, and prescribing when clinically suitable.
• MD or DO degree from a recognized institution.
• Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Endocrinology.
• Board-eligible in Endocrinology through ABIM.
• Willingness to achieve ABIM Endocrinology board certification within one year of employment.
• Possession of an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.
• Two years of recent and continuous practice experience with an MD/DO license treating patients.
• Capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic acumen and critical thinking abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and clarity.
• Proficiency in establishing patient trust and rapport in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based clinical practices.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Experience in women’s health is advantageous.
• Prior experience in telemedicine is a plus.
• Flexibility and autonomy with a 1099 contract.
• 1099 Longevity Recognition Bonus.
