This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of top-quality care.
• Complete necessary training sessions and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
• Educate patients on preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methods.
• Keep precise, up-to-date patient records and ensure timely charting.
• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and care.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours each week, including consultations and medical guidance, prescribing when clinically appropriate.
• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited educational institution.
• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Endocrinology Fellowship Training & Board Eligibility: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
• Commitment to pursue ABIM board certification in Endocrinology within one year of employment.
• Experience: All board-eligible Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply.
• Women's health experience is a plus!
• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.
• Webside Manner: A natural talent for establishing trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care grounded in current clinical research.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is an advantage.
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is necessary.
