Telehealth Endocrinologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care standards.

• Complete necessary training(s) and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventative care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Keep precise, updated patient records and ensure timely completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and empathy.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically justified.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a recognized institution.

• Current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology obtained through an ACGME-accredited program.

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.

• Demonstrated capability to work as an independent provider with robust diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Natural talent for establishing trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Genuine dedication to providing care based on the latest clinical research.

• Comfort using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Experience in women’s health is an advantage.

• Previous telehealth experience is a plus.
