Telehealth Endocrinologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work alongside a diverse care team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

• Complete all necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical guidelines, standards, and best practices.

• Provide education to patients on preventive care and wellness using research-based methods.

• Keep precise and current patient records and ensure timely completion of documentation.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and consideration.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week in patient-facing interactions, including consultations and medical advice, with prescribing as clinically warranted.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from a recognized institution.

• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology from an ACGME-accredited program.

• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply.

• Women's health experience is an advantage.

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic insight and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing empathy and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An inherent ability to foster trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care based on current clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is a plus.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
