This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Support flight planning activities for data collection tasks
• Ensure alignment of project scope with client specifications
• Recognize access, clearance, or environmental limitations
• Collaborate with operations regarding capture expectations and priorities
• Evaluate incoming data for completeness and usability
• Detect gaps that necessitate re-capture prior to processing
• Upload imagery and datasets collected in the field to specified platforms
• Organize, label, and monitor datasets for version control
• Confirm file integrity and completeness of metadata
• Uphold data organization standards for effective QA review
• Assess ground, aerial, and pole-mounted imagery
• Identify and categorize telecom assets (fiber, copper, coax, strand)
• Verify attachment order and construction methodologies
• Analyze field conditions utilizing lineman expertise
• Highlight discrepancies, safety issues, or ambiguous imagery
• Input and refresh asset data in client systems
• Relay findings to supervisors and project teams
• Achieve production and quality standards
• Previous experience as a telecommunications lineman or OSP technician
• Strong knowledge of both aerial and underground infrastructure
• Capability to interpret construction methodologies from imagery
• Background or skill in planning operational workflows
• Proficient in computer use and web-based platforms
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
• Dependable internet connection and workspace
• Familiarity with telecom asset inventories or make-ready processes
• Knowledge of major carrier standards
• Experience with drone or LiDAR imagery processes
• QA/QC or telecom back-office experience
• Understanding of NESC or GO95 standards
• Proficient in GIS or asset management systems
