Telecom Financial Reporting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation and distribution of precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Deliver comprehensive analysis and insights into financial performance, including variance analysis and essential performance indicators.

• Utilize SQL for the extraction, analysis, and interpretation of financial data.

• Create and uphold SQL queries to optimize reporting procedures and improve data accuracy.

• Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance data accessibility and uphold data integrity.

• Employ advanced Excel capabilities, including complex formulas and pivot tables, for thorough financial analysis.

• Construct, sustain, and enhance financial models to assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.

• Provide assistance and work concurrently with the revenue assurance function to validate data for billing processes and review customer credits.

• Continually refine financial reporting processes by adopting best practices and uncovering automation opportunities.

• Review, audit, or propose solutions for tasks assigned related to any issues or reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Chartered Accountant qualification (Essential).

• 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or related positions (preferred industries: Telecom, Tech Security; others may apply if they meet additional criteria).

• Advanced SQL proficiency (Essential) and expertise in data management, including data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.

• Expert-level skills in Excel, with experience in complex functions and pivot tables.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on detail and accuracy.

• Familiarity with taxation in both the USA and Canada, along with an understanding of G-7 regulations. Must acquire knowledge of telecommunication and tech-security regulatory requirements.

• Capability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and communicate efficiently with senior management and stakeholders.
