Tele Neurologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct patient audio/visual telemedicine consultations utilizing an onsite telemedicine cart.

• Provide assessments for strokes, as well as urgent and routine neurology consultations, along with patient follow-ups.

• Perform EEG interpretations (preferred but not mandatory).

• Share findings and recommendations with attending physicians.

• Record consultation details and progress notes directly into the EMR/EHR system.

• Place orders where necessary.

• Enter billing charges within the required billing software.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO Board Certification in Neurology.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Neurology, with inpatient experience within the last year.

• Capability to work a minimum of 7 shifts per month.

• Proficiency in navigating various EMR/EHR systems.

• Strong oral and written communication skills for effective documentation.

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Use independent judgment to handle and communicate confidential patient information.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
