This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Create comprehensive cost estimates based on RFP specifications, construction drawings, and site survey information.
β’ Analyze and interpret plans and specifications for telecom, wireless, IT infrastructure, BMS, and EBM systems.
β’ Conduct quantity take-offs and deliver labor and material pricing for structured cabling, network systems, wireless access points, routers, switches, control systems, and associated technologies.
β’ Work collaboratively with sales, engineering, project management, vendors, and subcontractors to guarantee bid accuracy and competitiveness.
β’ Assess subcontractor and vendor proposals to ensure compliance with scope and alignment of pricing.
β’ Engage in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid clarifications as necessary.
β’ Maintain and refresh unit cost databases, labor productivity metrics, and vendor pricing information.
β’ Assist in project handoff by supplying precise scope documentation to project management teams for the awarded tasks.
β’ Complete ongoing security awareness training and adhere to company policies.
β’ Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in estimating for telecom, wireless, low-voltage, or technology infrastructure projects.
β’ In-depth knowledge of low-voltage systems, wireless network architecture, IT infrastructure, and BMS/EBM systems.
β’ Expertise in interpreting architectural, MEP, and technology schematics.
β’ Familiarity with CSI divisions pertaining to telecom, security, control systems, and low-voltage scopes.
β’ Proficient in using estimating software such as Bluebeam, Accubid, PlanSwift, and Excel.
β’ Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage multiple estimates or bidding deadlines.
β’ Technical certifications such as RCDD, PMP, or BICSI are preferred.
β’ Experience in cost modeling, value engineering, pre-sales engineering, or design/build contracting is advantageous.
β’ Must reside in the United States.
