Technology Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Provide FlexSim DES consulting services throughout customer projects, from initial discovery to final implementation.

• Offer technical support for escalations, serving as a subject matter expert for customers, external sales channels, and colleagues in need of assistance.

• Create, validate, and present simulation models to evaluate system performance, pinpoint bottlenecks, and suggest enhancements.

• Collaborate with customers and AOS stakeholders to convert business challenges into scalable and repeatable solutions.

• Assist in pre-sales activities including technical demonstrations, solution design, and scoping of consulting projects.

• Acquire an in-depth understanding of current and emerging AOS technologies as our solutions evolve.

• Work collaboratively with AOS Product Management, Software Development, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful outcomes for customers.

• Contribute to the establishment of standardized methodologies, reusable assets, and best practices within AOS.

• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and presentations for customers, partners, and internal teams.

• Promote knowledge sharing and skill enhancement within the Kraków hub and the wider EMEA region.

• Assist product teams by providing feedback aimed at enhancing products and the customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in Discrete Event Simulation, process improvement, or a related area.

• Proficient in building and analyzing simulation models (experience with FlexSim or similar tools is preferred).

• Basic to intermediate programming skills (e.g., C++, Python, or other object-oriented languages).

• Good understanding of manufacturing systems, process flows, and/or facility operations.

• Strong analytical, abstraction, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
