
Technician in the Global Solution Center – 24/7 Remote Support, International Service Assignments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Global Remote Assistance: You will offer support for our inline flexographic printing machines and flatbed die cutters installed globally as part of the Global Solution Center, serving as the initial point of contact for service-related technical inquiries through various communication channels.
• Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis: You will investigate technical issues and mechatronic faults on our machines, implement suitable measures for swift and sustainable solutions, and help restore high machine availability.
• Customer Support & Service Tasks: You will assist our customers alongside internal and external service technicians with technical queries—remotely and, when necessary, directly on-site at the customer’s location.
• Technical Preparation for Service Operations: You will technically prepare service calls as well as repair and retrofit efforts, evaluating material requirements, deployment duration, and implementation efforts.
• Coordination of Interfaces: You will manage service-related topics with adjacent departments and support teams, appropriately forwarding complaints and monitoring the execution of necessary follow-up actions.
• Global Service Environment: You will operate in an international setting with global interfaces and play a vital role in the dependable support of our machines installed worldwide.
• On-Call Responsibilities & Development: You are comfortable working in a 24/7 support setting and attending to occasional international customer deployments.
• You have completed vocational training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or in a comparable technical field; further qualifications as a technician or master craftsman are advantageous.
• Ideally, you possess several years of experience in the commissioning, maintenance, repair, or fault diagnosis of machines and systems.
• You have a solid understanding of mechatronic relationships and enjoy systematically analyzing technical issues in a solution-oriented way.
• You are skilled in MS Office; experience with SAP and knowledge of Siemens Automation, particularly TIA Portal, are preferred.
• You exhibit an analytical and process-oriented mindset, an independent and structured working style, along with strong communication skills in both German and English.
• A willingness to travel for occasional international customer assignments and availability to work in a 24/7 support environment round out your profile.
