Technical Writer, Healthcare Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop, modify, and oversee the creation of guides, technical manuals, release notes, online help, and other documentation for healthcare products.

• Ensure that all documentation is straightforward and precise.

• Revise documentation to incorporate new features, enhancements, and modifications in the products.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to collect information and comprehend documentation needs.

• Engage in product development meetings to remain informed about new features and updates.

• Utilize MadCap Flare for creating and managing documentation projects.

• Maintain consistent application of styles, templates, and formatting across all documentation.

• Implement and oversee version control processes for documentation.

• Document changes and maintain a history of documentation for reference and audit purposes.

• Review and edit documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards.

• Conduct usability testing to confirm that documentation fulfills user needs.

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in technical writing and healthcare.

• Suggest and apply enhancements to documentation processes and tools.

• A bachelor's degree in management, computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Ability to work independently on multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

• Capacity to quickly understand and apply complex business and technical concepts.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• A solid understanding of the software development and software testing lifecycle.

• A comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodology.

• Proficiency in communicating effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
