Technical Talent Sourcer – 6-Month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead outbound sourcing initiatives for key engineering positions.

• Create focused talent pipelines across various engineering fields including hardware, mechanical, electrical, firmware, controls, manufacturing, and software.

• Perform comprehensive talent mapping and market analysis for specialized or challenging skill sets.

• Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure alignment on candidate profiles and outreach methods.

• Craft tailored, high-impact outreach that effectively conveys Mainspring’s mission, culture, technology, and growth prospects.

• Use sourcing platforms and alternative methods to discover high-potential candidates.

• Thoughtfully apply AI-driven sourcing tools and automation to enhance search accuracy, personalize messaging, improve workflow efficiency, and engage candidates.

• Qualify and initiate outreach conversations as necessary.

• Monitor sourcing metrics (response rates, conversion rates, from postings to interviews) and continuously refine strategies.

• Ensure clean and accurate data management within the ATS.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of technical sourcing expertise in a high-growth or technical setting.

• Proven track record in sourcing engineers across both hardware and software sectors.

• Strong command of contemporary sourcing tools and talent intelligence platforms.

• Experience in utilizing AI tools to improve sourcing research, outreach personalization, candidate evaluation, and workflow efficiency.

• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical requirements.

• Excellent written communication skills — able to create outreach that converts.

• Comfortable managing multiple searches concurrently under tight deadlines.

• High level of organization, accountability, and proactive attitude.

• Strong desire to understand technology deeply.
