Technical Support Engineer, Enterprise Solutions

📋 Description

• Facilitate the software installations for our Digital Pathology Solutions by offering technical guidance during the intricate pre-sales process and delivering technical and commercial solutions to help meet the assigned sales targets and business objectives.

• Provide advanced technical support to internal teams and external clients, which includes support for installations, maintenance, and repairs of both hardware and software.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, or connectivity problems.

• Collaborate closely with various multifunctional teams within the organization to influence product implementation, integration, and enhance solutions, including working with the BU R&D teams and product management.

• Address security-related incidents and assist in the remediation of cybersecurity events (system and/or network breaches, malware attacks).

• Take the lead in resolving intricate and demanding technical challenges and projects requiring comprehensive evaluation across multiple areas of application, integration, and delivering solutions that necessitate creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical thinking. This includes responding to security-related events and assisting in cybersecurity incident remediation efforts (system and/or network breaches, malware attacks).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Proven understanding of the IHC, Histology, Pathology marketplace, or a related field.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining digital pathology instruments and software.

• Established ability to discuss necessary network, system resources, and security requirements with customer IT managers.

• Familiarity with installing and upgrading clients/servers, as well as installing additional peripherals such as network interfaces, firewalls, barcode readers, printers, etc.

• Travel Requirements: This role necessitates up to 10% travel, which may involve flying and/or driving, including potential overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally include international trips.
