This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop data engineering solutions tailored for enterprise clients across diverse MarTech and AdTech platforms.
• Strategize the data flow across each client's MarTech stack to ensure compatibility with Polaris, our proprietary technology platform.
• Construct data models utilizing BigQuery and dbt, ensuring they are optimized for reporting, applications, and media forecasting.
• Establish, enhance, and maintain client reporting mechanisms.
• Innovate reporting solutions by crafting data visualizations that address key business inquiries.
• Collaborate closely with the product development team, partnering with product managers to outline requirements for our proprietary reporting platform.
• Over 5 years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, or analytics engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL, database design, and methodologies for data manipulation.
• Experience in gathering requirements and creating data visualizations using Looker (preferred) or Data Studio in an Advertising Agency or similar client setting.
• Familiarity with Data Build Tools (dbt).
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel, ideally with experience in app scripts.
• Experience with API calls for collecting and storing extensive datasets (both batch and streaming).
• Proficient in at least one cloud platform (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, R, AppScript, JavaScript, etc.), preferably JavaScript or Python.
• Understanding of database and data warehousing design and management principles.
• Familiarity with the ETL process and experience in data modeling using SQL.
• Strong attention to detail, capable of debugging and troubleshooting code/queries.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently.
• General business and marketing data knowledge, including familiarity with common marketing objectives, KPIs, and strategies.
• Experience in integrating and automating data pipelines from various sources.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Eagerness to learn new tools, skills, and strategies, alongside the initiative to undertake new responsibilities.
