Solutions Consultant – Post Sales, Commercial

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Managers to showcase new Ramp products and features to current customers, creating a compelling business case for growth through tailored demonstrations and workflow examples.

• Assess customer needs for expansion possibilities, evaluating suitability through use-case studies, ROI evaluations, and technical planning.

• Develop and propose optimal Ramp architecture — detailing when and how to implement APIs, ERP integrations, and HRIS connectors — based on each customer's current systems and workflows.

• Serve as a technical consultant to both customers and internal teams, guiding integration, configuration, and system design choices without direct coding.

• Resolve ERP and integration challenges, assisting customers with intricate configuration decisions involving NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion, and other platforms.

• Assist Account Managers with technical initiatives, ensuring quicker time-to-value during product launches and expansions.

• Act as a subject matter expert on accounting systems and integration partners; promote integration development that aligns with customer requirements alongside Product and Partners.

• Shape Ramp's product strategy by relaying customer challenges and feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

• Contribute to internal documentation, tools, and knowledge repositories that enhance Ramp's capability to support integration use cases for a growing customer base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Technical Consulting, Implementation, or a related customer-facing technical role in SaaS or fintech.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related discipline.

• Practical knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting processes.

• Familiarity with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture — with the ability to clearly communicate these concepts to finance and operations stakeholders.

• Proven experience in conducting product demonstrations and translating intricate technical functionalities into tangible business benefits.

• Excellent communication abilities: capable of directing customers towards scalable solutions and tactfully guiding conversations when requests do not align with product capabilities or best practices.

• A collaborative approach; effectively working across functions with Account Management, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Ability to thrive in uncertain and fast-paced settings; highly organized, ownership-driven, and resourceful as Ramp expands its upmarket efforts.
