Technical Solutions Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical assessment of power-side equipment, which includes inverters, power conversion systems, and medium-voltage transformer solutions.

• Assist in supplier qualification by analyzing technical proposals, evaluating equipment alternatives, and suggesting appropriate vendors or technologies.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, procurement, and business development teams to define the power-side solution architecture for utility-scale BESS projects.

• Convert technical requirements, customer expectations, and market insights into product specifications, roadmap contributions, and solution development priorities.

• Facilitate certification, compliance, and technical validation processes, coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and independent engineers.

• Develop and manage comprehensive technical documentation, specifications, evaluation records, and solution materials to ensure internal alignment and support customer interactions.

• Offer technical support throughout product integration, commercialization, and field feedback phases to enhance solution performance and market competitiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Power Systems, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in power electronics, inverters, power conversion systems, energy storage, or related electrical equipment.

• Profound knowledge of inverter technologies, central or string inverters, medium-voltage equipment, and their integration into BESS or renewable energy systems.

• Experience in product development, applications engineering, commissioning, technical solution creation, or equipment qualification.

• Awareness of grid compliance, interconnection requirements, product validation, and relevant standards such as UL, IEEE, IEC, NFPA, or similar.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
