Technical Solutions Engineer – Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust integrations between TeamBuilder and various customer EHR systems (such as EPIC, Cerner, etc.).

• Diagnose integration issues and deliver prompt resolutions to guarantee seamless data flow and system interoperability.

• Create and develop advanced REST API platforms to ensure thorough system integration.

• Evaluate service and application performance utilizing a range of programming languages, tools, and techniques focused on integration.

• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of EHR integrations.

• Build and uphold automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines customized for integrated systems.

• Generate documentation to assist integration processes and workflows.

• Guide non-technical users in effectively and efficiently utilizing integrated software and hardware systems.

• Provide support for applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.

• Relay project status, issues, feedback, and ideas to various teams.

• Maintain proactive communication with team members and clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as an integration engineer, software engineer, or in a related field.

• More than 5 years of demonstrated experience in integrating third-party vendor projects with large EHR systems (including Epic).

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR, HL7v2, and SMART on FHIR.

• Expertise in solution design principles and practices, system development methodologies, and software life cycles.

• Familiar with a variety of technical integrations, technologies, and processing environments, including cloud and SaaS technologies.

• Capable of resolving complex production issues.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey challenges and issues directly to clients.

• Epic Certification(s) are a plus.

• Previous experience with HL7, DICOM, and other interoperability standards.

• Experience with cloud technologies.
