Okta IAM Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure end-to-end SAML 2.0 and OIDC SSO integrations, facilitating technical coordination with external vendors.

• Establish SCIM 2.0 provisioning and implement group-based Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within Okta.

• Create and synchronize target groups using the internal IAM portal.

• Deploy Okta application configurations (including SAML/OIDC applications, group patterns, and SCIM) through Terraform within a shared Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repository.

• Oversee daily access operations, including the provisioning/deprovisioning lifecycles and modifications to URIs/attributes.

• Write, present, and execute Change Advisory Board (CAB) tickets for all changes at the production level.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of focused Okta administration experience within a corporate IT or enterprise setting.

• In-depth, hands-on configuration experience with SAML, OIDC, and SCIM protocols (beyond mere conceptual knowledge).

• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume ticket queue and effectively juggle multiple concurrent integration projects.

• Outstanding communication skills: A proven capability to convey complex IAM architectures into straightforward, actionable steps for non-technical stakeholders without causing frustration.

• Strong experience working within a structured CAB/change management framework.

• A sense of ownership: A customer-centric approach to completing tasks and a determination to ensure integrations do not stall.
