IT Infrastructure Solutions Architect – AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the design of infrastructure solutions for workloads hosted on AWS.

• Validate designs and ensure they are in line with enterprise policies and reference architectures; collaborate with application architects to guarantee comprehensive coherence.

• Ensure that designs integrate identity and access management with the enterprise identity system hosted in Azure (e.g., concepts of single sign-on and federation).

• Create and maintain architectural artifacts using the C4 model, along with high-level and low-level documentation.

• Integrate and enforce Zero Trust access principles into infrastructure and platform designs by defining secure access patterns in collaboration with the Security team.

• Design and oversee Kubernetes-based hosting platforms and workloads, encompassing cluster architecture, networking (ingress/egress), segmentation, and connectivity patterns.

• Actively engage in business-as-usual operations, including major incident and problem management, driving root-cause analysis and subsequent improvements.

• Collaborate as part of an Infrastructure Support Crew to implement and advocate for enterprise architecture standards and governance as outlined by the Eurofins Architecture Office.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering/operations and/or infrastructure architecture.

• Extensive experience in designing and operating AWS environments, including networking, segmentation, and connectivity patterns.

• Familiarity with enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), network security concepts, and hybrid connectivity between office locations and cloud environments.

• Strong practical knowledge of Azure, particularly regarding identity foundations and enterprise integration requirements.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes is essential, covering both platform and networking aspects.

• Demonstrated ability to create clear architecture documentation and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in using the C4 model for architecture diagrams.

• Excellent English communication skills.
