This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the delivery of both planned and reactive Hard FM services across all properties, ensuring operational performance, health and safety, human resources, quality, compliance, service level agreements, and profitability.
• Review and revise site-specific policies and operational procedures to conform with JLL's value framework, ISO 9001 standards, and client needs.
• Create and implement operational best practices and effective working initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, statutory requirements, legislation, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to building activity schedules and key building events, including black building tests, M&E audits, action plans, and document assessments.
• Promote collaborative relationships within the management team, service partners, stakeholders, and clients.
• Monitor operational performance and generate formal monthly performance reports.
• Oversee service partners, manage contract performance, maintain relationships, handle contract administration, and drive operational enhancements.
• Serve as the Responsible Person for Legionella (Water).
• Develop and maintain a Contract Risk Register that addresses operational and commercial risks.
• Create technical reports for significant reactive breakdowns, client inquiries, position statements, and expenditure approvals.
• Establish risk-management controls, procedures, health and safety systems, audits, and contingency plans.
• Conduct monthly meetings with core service partners to ensure KPIs, SLAs, and reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain contracts within budget while enhancing customer service and minimizing costs.
• Lead portfolio energy management, optimize building performance, and manage and report on energy consumption.
• Contribute to SMART building technology platforms and data analysis.
• Carry out one-off and non-contractual operational tasks, including out-of-hours occupier events and special projects.
• Champion HSE culture, conduct safety inspections, audits, accident investigations, reporting, and risk assessments.
• Manage contract P&L, budgets, aged debt, WIP recovery, invoicing, commercial activities, small/extra works, purchase orders, supply-chain invoices, and payments.
• Develop cost books and adhere to the CRB process.
• Relevant industry qualifications.
• Proficiency in CAFM, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ideally possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience in technical engineering management.
• National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health accredited by NEBOSH or IOSH.
• Demonstrated history of effective technical problem-solving.
• Capability to explain technical topics to non-technical clients and team members.
• Ability to generate technical reports.
• Skilled in managing change across diverse groups while promoting best practices and strategic guidance.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check at JLL's expense.
• Availability for out-of-hours critical call-outs to provide support and guidance as needed.
• DBS check covered by JLL.
