Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute trials at customer facilities to showcase the Value Proposition of our enzymatic solutions.

• Collaborate closely with Sales Managers to present and demonstrate cost benefits, securing business opportunities.

• Spearhead troubleshooting initiatives at plants to meet customer expectations effectively.

• Foster strong connections and business relationships at all levels with our clients.

• Oversee the technical aspects to tailor solutions for commercial product launches.

• Actively engage with various internal stakeholders, including Sales Managers, the Application team, and Channel Partners, to deliver optimized solutions that align with customer expectations.

• Assist the Sales Team in formulating and executing Key Account Plans.

• Relay feedback to the Application team regarding the current and anticipated needs of customers in the market, aiding in the development of innovative products to maintain a competitive edge.

• Develop future market scenarios to pinpoint current and upcoming customer needs, leading to new product and application opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Alcohol Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.

• A minimum of 6-10 years of experience in Technical Services, R&D, or Application roles within the Fermentation Alcohol Industry.

• In-depth knowledge of the Grain Alcohol industry.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Grain Alcohol manufacturing process and associated plants.

• Ability to assimilate data and perform analyses to create scenarios, along with a talent for developing new testing approaches and a comfort in posing questions.

• Exceptional negotiation and customer relationship management skills.

• Proven capability to operate in a matrix environment alongside various business leaders and cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Willingness to travel extensively, with at least 50% travel within India.
