Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical support for product applications at customer locations.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

• Oversee multiple clients within the designated geographical area and product categories.

• Provide assistance, information, and support to customers.

• Repair, replace, and install DuBois equipment as needed.

• Conduct chemical analyses and manage inventory effectively.

• Offer personalized services that add value to the customer experience.

• Document, report, and communicate findings and any unusual conditions.

• Provide recommendations and address technical challenges faced by customers.

• Support process improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional support staff.

• Acquire knowledge and assist with DuBois eTools, System Surveys, and Cost Calculators.

• Record chemical test results, meter/setpoint readings, inventory levels/dosage rates, GPS locations, and service time into Analytics or a similar data collection system.

• Travel to assigned clients to perform service audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the Indianapolis area.

• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical, chemical, or industrial fields.

• Preferred mechanical aptitude in electrical systems and pipefitting.

• Strong time management skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to comprehend the products and services provided by the company.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Skilled in conducting technical/mechanical testing on-site.

• Adaptability to meet various customer needs and situations.

• Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and other analytical tools.

• Willingness to travel locally on a daily basis with up to 25% overnight travel.
