Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Deliver effective technical support for product applications at customer locations to enhance account satisfaction and retention.

• Oversee a diverse range of customers within a specified region, utilizing various product lines.

• Provide assistance, information, and support to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction.

• Deliver consistent service for DuBois equipment, including repairs, replacements, installations, chemical testing, inventory management, and personalized value-added services.

• Capable of documenting, reporting, and communicating findings, along with identifying abnormal conditions and offering recommendations.

• Exhibit strong technical skills by resolving customer technical challenges and aiding in process improvements.

• Effectively collaborate and communicate with team members and other cross-functional support staff.

• Acquire knowledge and assist with DuBois eTools, System Surveys, and Cost Calculators.

• Accurately input all pertinent information into Analytics or a similar data collection system, including chemical test results, meter/setpoint readings, inventory levels/dosage rates, GPS locations, and service times.

• Travel to designated customers to perform service audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical, chemical, or industrial fields.

• Preferred mechanical aptitude in electrical systems and pipefitting.

• Strong time management abilities coupled with attention to detail.

• Capability to comprehend the products and services provided by the company.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in conducting technical/mechanical on-site testing.

• Ability to adapt to various customer needs and circumstances.

• Competent in working independently with minimal oversight.

• Proficient in Microsoft Products, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and other analytical tools.

• Ability to walk several miles daily.

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including overnight trips.
