This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Deliver prompt and effective technical support to designated clients regarding their packaging equipment operations.
• Enhance customer quality and boost packaging performance.
• Serve as a safety advocate and prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Comprehend customer needs related to product and equipment issues.
• Maintain and service customer equipment, as necessary, to ensure optimal performance of machinery, packaging films, and shrink bag materials.
• Detect issues with machinery and packaging film/shrink bags, ensuring proper communication to the relevant staff members.
• Keep precise and timely documentation of work activities and time management.
• Execute and finalize audits on packaging machines and shrink bags.
• Engage in field trials for new packaging materials.
• Assist in the setup and initiation of all packaging equipment produced and sold by Amcor.
• Offer insights, as needed, into the design, installation, and initiation of packaging equipment made by external suppliers or RE&D.
• Manage personal schedule and travel, determining the priority of customer visits.
• Conduct training for customers on the correct operation and maintenance of equipment and Amcor film.
• Support projects and potentially lead smaller tasks within a larger project.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal Amcor staff.
• Submit KMS reports within 5 days, file expense reports within a month following business trips, and provide weekly schedules within the specified timeframe.
• Technical degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience in the food packaging sector (materials & machinery).
• Willingness to travel 60% or more, with a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
