Technical Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a proficient team of technical service managers and advisors positioned throughout North America.

• Offer advanced troubleshooting support and technical knowledge to the team, sales personnel, and clients.

• Collect and analyze data from various sources pertinent to resolving technical challenges.

• Leverage the team to create and present multi-day, hands-on technical installation and service training for both internal and external customers, emphasizing system overview, installation, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and controls.

• Generate technical training materials for meetings and distributor/dealer events.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, factories, and product managers to refine and improve the product lineup.

• Establish systems, tools, and processes to enhance the efficiency of the technical service team.

• Support and execute corporate policies and objectives.

• Monitor and report on monthly departmental expenses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of HVAC field experience, or a high school diploma/GED accompanied by at least 7 years of HVAC field experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in leading and managing teams of skilled professionals.

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

• At least 3 years of experience delivering HVAC technical training or presentations.

• Ability to work remotely with a dedicated home office setup.

• Willingness and capability to travel domestically up to 50%, including occasional trips to Indianapolis, Indiana, and short-notice travel to meet customer requirements.
