Technical Service Engineer – Italy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Conducting routine maintenance and repair tasks on laboratory equipment and systems.

• Detecting and analyzing technical issues in devices and systems, troubleshooting, and executing necessary repairs.

• Installing and commissioning new equipment, along with training laboratory staff on its correct use and operation.

• Offering technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.

• Precisely documenting all work performed, including service reports and technical records.

• Overseeing the procurement, replacement, and inventory management of spare parts as required.

• Ensuring all equipment complies with relevant quality standards and regulations.

• Coordinating the delivery and installation of equipment to laboratories or medical facilities.

• Assisting the sales team by participating in national trade fairs and congresses, along with maintaining close collaboration with sales colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completed training in electrical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, or a similar technical qualification.

• Demonstrable experience in the maintenance and repair of laboratory diagnostic equipment, preferably within the medical technology or laboratory field.

• Strong technical skills with the ability to rapidly comprehend and diagnose complex systems.

• A self-driven, solution-oriented mindset combined with a high level of personal initiative.

• Exceptional communication skills, both in client interactions and teamwork settings.

• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK and flexibility to support various customer locations as needed.

• Solid IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, service software, and experience with laboratory or practice information systems.

• Residing in Italy with a willingness to travel and possessing a valid driver’s license.
