This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Drive revenue expansion within Biotage’s biomolecule and advanced therapeutics portfolio, overseeing the entire sales cycle from identifying opportunities to customer adoption.
• Cultivate robust relationships with scientists, researchers, and decision-makers in biopharma, biotechnology, and academic institutions.
• Comprehend customer workflows and challenges, offering technically relevant solutions that aid in applications such as protein purification, biologics development, and advanced therapeutic research.
• Provide engaging product demonstrations, technical presentations, seminars, and workshops to highlight Biotage solutions.
• Assist customers with application discussions and workflow optimization, serving as a trusted scientific partner.
• Generate, qualify, and nurture new opportunities through customer engagement, networking, events, and collaboration with marketing.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Global Sales, Marketing, and technical teams to create market opportunities and customer solutions.
• Represent Biotage at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events throughout Europe.
• Work in tandem with automation and technology partners to facilitate integrated workflow solutions.
• A degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related life science field.
• Experience with biomolecule workflows, including protein purification, chromatography, biologics, or other related analytical/preparative techniques.
• Commercial experience in selling scientific instruments, consumables, software, or workflow solutions within the Life Sciences, Biopharma, or Biotechnology sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong technical understanding of applications such as protein purification and characterization, chromatography workflows, and cell and gene therapy applications.
• Ability to convert complex scientific challenges into customer-centric solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable interacting with customers in laboratory settings and supporting technical discussions.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (experience with Salesforce is advantageous).
