This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Identify new prospects and opportunities, transforming them into actionable business.
• Willingness to travel regularly to engage with clients.
• Collaborate in the development of strategic sales plans aimed at achieving business goals.
• Conduct audits and analyses of the short- and long-term requirements of prospects and clients.
• Prepare and deliver customized technical proposals.
• Negotiate business agreements effectively.
• Work in close collaboration with project managers to ensure overall client satisfaction.
• Establish account strategies by pinpointing opportunities for growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Continuously monitor the industry to uncover new business prospects.
• Engage in trade shows, association events, and seminars.
• Ensure diligent follow-up on opportunities and manage the sales pipeline within the CRM.
• Achieve and surpass annual sales targets.
• Undertake any additional tasks as required by the company's needs.
• A technical degree in automation or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of proven B2B sales experience with a track record of consistently meeting targets.
• Background in the food equipment sector.
• A dynamic and motivated personality with a strong results-oriented approach (entrepreneurial mindset).
• Excellent collaboration skills—your guiding principle is “Winning Together”.
• Significant experience in negotiating and closing sales with production directors and engineers.
• A consultative approach, recognized as a trusted partner by your clients.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and persuade.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and visit the headquarters in Quebec.
• Familiarity with ultrasonic cutting equipment, robotic solutions, or packaging within the food industry (an asset).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks (an asset).
• Comprehensive training will be provided upon hiring, at the headquarters.
• Occasional travel to the headquarters will be necessary for meetings/training, etc.
