This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Consistently surpass your sales targets by nurturing, expanding, and prospecting clients within your designated account territory.
• Leverage product expertise alongside an understanding of customers’ project goals to create distinct value propositions, backed by financial impact analysis and feasibility assessments.
• Utilize Salesforce for managing customer relationships effectively.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, meetings, and seminars to promote products or gain insights into industry advancements.
• Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key personnel for product development and sales initiatives.
• Willingness to travel nationally on a regular basis.
• A passion for self-education and acquiring knowledge about new products, services, and business practices.
• Additional responsibilities include preparing proposals, pricing, presentations, forecasting, program management, and other tasks as necessary.
• The main responsibility is to exercise discretion and independent judgment when addressing critical issues.
• Identify the appropriate customer stakeholders and swiftly build connections to foster consensus for deals; collaborate effectively with a diverse range of internal stakeholders to ensure deal success.
• Strategize both independently and collaboratively to tackle deal-level challenges.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to: warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record with minimal traffic violations.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate a company vehicle.
• Willing and able to travel to customer locations - 70% travel required.
• Willing and able to undertake overnight travel.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Relevant industry sales experience is advantageous, particularly a demonstrated history of success in selling advanced battery chemistries.
