Technical Sales Manager, Food Safety Industry

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee a robust pipeline of qualified sales prospects.

• Identify, nurture, and finalize new business opportunities.

• Enhance relationships with current clients while discovering avenues for growth.

• Collaborate with Client Services, Operations, and Leadership to deliver an exceptional client experience.

• Assist with targeted marketing efforts and lead-generation campaigns.

• Remain updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.

• Provide market insights and strategic suggestions to leadership.

• Keep precise records of pipeline and client interactions in CRM (SugarCRM).

• Represent Deibel in a professional manner during client meetings, conferences, and industry events.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in the food, microbiology, chemistry, pharmaceutical, or similar sectors.

• Proven track record of growing accounts and developing new business.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Background in food science, microbiology, laboratory services, or quality systems is preferred.

• Experience in food manufacturing, food safety, or laboratory settings is a plus.

• Familiarity with consultative or solution-selling techniques is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.

• Involvement or membership in organizations such as IAFP or related food safety associations is a plus.

• Fluency in Spanish is advantageous.

• Competitive base salary: $70,000–$85,000 based on experience.

• Additional earning potential: Up to $10,000 annually through performance-driven commission.
