This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

đź“‹ Description

• Generate and oversee both a high volume and complex sales portfolio.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate rapid experimental advancements.

• Cultivate, sustain, and expand repeat business while nurturing strong relationships.

• Effectively prospect to create immediate, medium, and long-term sales pipelines to guarantee consistent quota achievement.

• Negotiate and finalize deals while minimizing discounts.

• Communicate technical advantages effectively to clients.

• Develop a quarterly and annual business plan that includes both strategic and tactical initiatives.

• Prioritize and qualify incoming leads.

• Provide management with insights on competition, market trends, and customer feedback.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in managing your sales funnel.

• Utilize the expertise of Field Application Scientists to assist customers and drive sales.

• Leverage the skills of prospecting specialists to maximize customer meetings and stimulate new sales.

• Use CRM tools to manage and monitor deals.

• Continue to enhance technical knowledge related to new, emerging, and relevant single-cell research.

• Forecast expected sales within your territory.

• Exhibit a high level of professionalism both internally and externally.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology/genomics or a related discipline; a Master’s or PhD is advantageous.

• At least 1 year of field sales experience in NGS and/or genomics-related products or services, encompassing both account management and new business development.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Previous experience in a molecular biology laboratory is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time (locally, nationally, and internationally as required).

• A home office located in Central or Northern Germany.
