• Meet or surpass sales budgets for the territory across the ICL product range.
• Foster relationships with current retail and distribution clients within the assigned territory.
• Enhance connections with new distributors, retailers, and growers.
• Create a sales growth strategy aimed at expanding the market within the territory.
• Offer technical assistance to clients regarding the application of granular, liquid, water-soluble, and controlled-release fertilizers utilized in agriculture.
• Formulate and implement the sales and marketing strategy based on the business plan, including effective management of company budgets.
• Provide insights into competitor activities within the market.
• Generate annual sales forecasts along with monthly updates to support the ongoing Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Serve as the organization's representative at trade shows, events, and demonstrations.
• Leverage SalesForce for documenting customer interactions and review SAP dashboard reports for territory management.
• A bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or a related field is preferred, with coursework in plant science, soil science, plant health, and plant nutrition considered advantageous.
• Candidates must reside within the designated territory.
• A minimum of three years of experience with a proven track record in agricultural sales is required.
• Established connections with distributors, retailers, and/or large growers in the geographical area are essential.
• Experience in developing comprehensive nutrient management programs following Good Agronomic Practices (GAP) is necessary.
• Strong analytical abilities: capable of interpreting nutritional values pertinent to soil, water, and plant materials.
• Must effectively manage personal goals and corporate objectives while maintaining a customer-focused perspective.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation capabilities.
• Proficient in computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Map Point.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Proven ability to collaborate and contribute in a team setting.
• A proactive problem solver with a positive attitude is preferred.
